You can delete your EASI account and the data attached to it at any time. There are two ways to do it, and you do not need the app for either.
In the app
By email
If you cannot access the app, or you have already uninstalled it, email admin@easi.network from the address on your EASI account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm your identity, action the request, and reply to confirm when it is done. We respond within one month, as UK data protection law requires. There is no charge.
What happens next
Deleting your account starts a 30-day grace period. During those 30 days your account is hidden and your profile no longer appears anywhere in the network, but nothing has been erased yet — if you change your mind, sign in again and reactivate.
After 30 days the deletion completes automatically and cannot be undone.
What is permanently deleted
Your user account and login.
Your rider, instructor, operator, retail, service and brand profiles.
Your equipment quiver and preferred setups.
Your roles and any verifications connected to you.
Your participation records linking you to sessions.
What is kept, and why
Sessions that other people also took part in are not deleted, because they are also those riders' and that operator's records. Your link to them is removed, so the session no longer identifies you.
We keep one audit entry recording that an account was deleted and when. We keep it so we can demonstrate that we honoured your request, which data protection law requires us to be able to show.
We also keep anything the law separately requires us to keep, such as accounting records, for the period the law sets.
Messages and voice notes sent to our WhatsApp line
Our WhatsApp line is separate from your app account, so deleting your account does not by itself clear it.
To erase those too, send "delete my data" to the EASI WhatsApp number, or email admin@easi.network. We will erase everything associated with your phone number — your messages, any voice notes and photos you sent, their transcripts, and our replies to you.
If you have asked us not to contact you again, we keep only your phone number on a do-not-contact list. We keep it precisely so that we cannot accidentally message you again. Tell us if you would rather we removed that too, and we will explain the consequence before we do.
