EASI is a private, voluntary safety-standards scheme and network for the eFoil industry. We publish safety and training standards, and we verify and recognize operator businesses - schools and rental centers - before listing them on our register. Training, and any assessment of individual riders or instructors, is carried out by the independent operators themselves. EASI does not issue certificates of competence to individuals.
EASI is not accredited by, or affiliated with, the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), holds no recognition under retained Regulation (EC) 765/2008, and is not a national accreditation body. EASI recognition applies to operator businesses only and carries no government or UKAS status.
